Worker's Compensation:

When someone is injured on the job, they have a worker's compensation claim. Their employer must send them to a doctor for treatment, and they may be entitled to disability benefits.

Personal Injury:

When someone is injured as the result of the negligence of another person they are entitled to damages the injury causes.

Social Security:

If someone is disabled and cannot work for 1 year or expected to be disabled for 1 year, they may be entitled to social security disability from the federal government.

State Disability:

Anyone who is disabled and has taxes withheld from their paycheck can receive state disability if they are not receiving workers compensation temporary disability benefits.

Wrongful Termination:

When someone is terminated from their job, or harassed based on discrimination due to race, religion, sex, age or filing a worker's compensation case, they may be entitled to damages against their employer.
